What Is SEO.

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is a process that focuses on getting a website and its pages to rank on search engines. A successful SEO (Search Engine Optimization) program will result in an increase in organic or natural search engine traffic (in the form of clicks) to your website. Organic traffic should be the most relevant traffic that reaches your site, which is why it’s considered so valuable.

As a benchmark, organic traffic should make up at least 50% of your overall traffic. If it does not, there may be an (SEO best practice) issue with your website and or online presence.  You can find your organic traffic report within your Google Analytics dashboard under Acquisition > All Traffic > Channels.  All major search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo have primary search results, where web pages and other content, such as videos or local listings, are shown and ranked based on their relevance to the keyword.
